Live your life in love and harmony…

When we look at the spiritual and religious practices from ancient times to now, the one theme that always lays the foundation to one’s enlightenment is living your life in love and harmony with yourself and others. Love is the key ingredient to feeding your soul. It’s what connects us to the divine and ignites the fire of passion and purpose in the very essence of our being. Without love our souls would be empty and we would not be able to form the connections to ourselves and others that are needed for us to reach our individual and collective enlightenment.

Love allows us to live in harmony with each other. When Jesus was asked “of all the commandments, which is the most important?”, he replied “Love the lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” and “Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these”. ~Mark 13:30,31

Each one of us was created in the spirit of love. When children are born, the mother’s body is filled with an overwhelming sensation of love that allows her to bond with her baby. We spend our lives searching for our soulmates so we can “fall in love”. When we experience the beauty of nature or an amazing sunrise we inhale as we bring the breath of love in to our souls. It’s the one thing that can always bring a smile to our face, tears to our eyes, and can move the mountains of our souls so we can reach greater heights.

Love is the essence of life. Every day our goal should be to fill our bodies, our spirits and souls with the energy of love so we can attract more peace and harmony into our lives. If you are familiar with our golden sun exercise practiced at Meditari Institute, I recommend using this meditation tool every day to bring that love into your being so you can set the tone for attracting harmony into your personal and professional lives.

May your hearts be filled with love and harmony on this day :)
